Molly Yestadt was born in New York and raised with a deep appreciation for all aspects of design from those of great scale to the everyday object.

Most recently Yestadt was inducted into the prestigious CFDA Fashion Incubator class of 2018. In 2012 Yestadt was recognized as one of Forbes’ 30 under 30 stars in the field of Art and Design.

Molly’s design philosophy starts with a dedication to technique and detailed millinery processes. She design’s around the woman’s face to enhance the beauty of each wearer. With nods to vintage glamour coupled with current RTW trends, a Yestadt hat is easily worn and integrated into each customer’s closet.

“You can really create a world within the hat;
it sits atop the head and frames the face. It can draw attention away,
or bring onlookers near, it can bring confidence and attitude that
no other accessory really can.”

Yestadt Millinery is at the forefront of the headwear market and collaborates season- ally with top RTW designers. These exclusive developments include collaborations with Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen’s award winning collection The Row, newly minted DKNY creative directors of Public School New York, as well as modernist 3.1 Philip Lim. Molly has also worked with Marc Jacobs Collection on co-branded retail items and participated in runway shows for Mara Hoffman, Pamella Roland, Creatures of the Wind, and Charlotte Ronson.

In 2012 Molly Yestadt was recognized as one of Forbes’ 30 under 30 stars in the field of Art and Design. Her designs have attracted the attention of tastemakers and stylists such as Sara Moonves, Kate Young, and Andrew Richardson.

Reflecting Molly’s commitment to responsible, top-tier production, Yestadt’s hats are manufactured domestically, with the majority of finishing done in Yestadt Millinery’s downtown NYC studio.

All Yestadt hats are produced carefully, with attention to detail in New York and New Jersey. Our millinery production is craft oriented and practices are highly specialized to the category.

This includes hand blocking and finishing techniques in the highest quality fur felts available.
